Lords of the Fallen is a challenging third-person action role-playing game developed by Hexworks and CI Games. In the game, players take control of a prisoner called the Warden who finds themselves in the middle of a war between the god-like creatures known as the Axiom and the monstrous forces of the Umbral.
As in most soulslike games, currency plays a vital role in Lords of the Fallen. Lords of the Fallen Vigor is the main currency that is required for leveling up your character, upgrading equipment, purchasing items, and more. Farming vigor is essential to progress in the game, especially in the early phases when resources are scarce. In this guide, we will discuss the best ways to farm vigor fast in Lords of the Fallen.
Pilgrim’s Perch Bellroom Vestige
The Pilgrim’s Perch Bellroom Vestige area, located right after the Scourged Sister Daeltyh boss fight, is considered the single best spot for farming vigor in Lords of the Fallen. Here, players can easily earn around 600-700 vigor in just 10 seconds by killing the Ardent Penitent enemy that spawns in the area.
To farm vigor here, rest at the nearby checkpoint/vestige and sprint towards the Ardent Penitent. It will start charging at you. Quickly dodge to the side and let it fall off the wooden platform to its death. You will get around 500 vigor for this kill. Then, take out the nearby Pilgrim enemies for additional 100-200 vigor. Rinse and repeat this process for very fast vigor farming.
Umbral Realm Farming
Another great way to farm vigor is by utilizing the Umbral realm via the Umbral lamp. Head to the Pilgrim’s Perch Bellroom Vestige area and clear out all the normal enemies. Then activate the Umbral realm for respawning enemies. Farm the enemies here to slowly increase your vigor multiplier. At x3 multiplier, powerful Scaret Shadow enemies will spawn worth 8000+ vigor each.
While the Scarlet Shadows are very tough to beat, you can manipulate their AI to make them fall off the platforms, similar to the Ardent Penitent earlier. This allows farming vigor very fast and safe in the Umbral realm. Make sure to return to the checkpoint before the timer runs out to reset the realm.
Combining Axiom and Umbral Enemies
For maximum vigor gains, players can clear normal enemies first, and then enter the Umbral realm to simultaneously farm both Axiom and Umbral enemies. Good early areas for this are Pilgrim’s Perch Descent outside the Sanctuary Vestige and the Forsaken Fen region.
Here, you can kill normal enemies, stack up the vigor dropped, and then take on additional Umbral spawns. With the vigor multiplier increasing over time, you can rapidly earn a high amount of currency this way without much risk. Make sure to clear enemies methodically instead of taking them all at once.
Other Useful Tips
– Rest at checkpoints between runs to reset enemy spawns for continuous farming.
– Play in cooperative mode summoning friendly phantoms. Enemy drops are shared among players.
– Upgrade your weapon attributes and stats to take on tougher enemies for bigger vigor rewards later on.
