Magic: The Gathering is a trading card game (TCG) where two or more players fight it out as wizards known as Planeswalkers. Players cast spells and summon all types of weird and wonderful creatures to thrash their opponents. The game has five different colours and each colour is chosen for a different style of gameplay. The Green colour in Magic The Gathering is associated with raw strength, the natural order, animals and plants, regeneration, fertility and as you might expect growth.

A towering mountain of a man, Garruk turned his back on civilisation years ago in favour of a life in the wilds on his own. He is a tenacious tracker and hunter who can be an unforgiving and brutal enemy to anyone who threatens the wilderness that he loves. He has an intuitive connection to beasts, often choosing to enlist them as allies whilst magically enhancing their strength, size, and ferocity.
Jiang Yanggu
Having lost all memories of his name, his past, and even his family—or indeed, if he has a family—this planeswalker has chosen the name Yanggu. The name means “the valley where sun rises” and is the Easternmost Valley, the first place that he can remember. He travels with the Planeswalker Mu Yanling and Mowu, his loyal hound. His desire is to find his past memories.
Nissa Revane
A powerful elven animist with the capacity to awaken the land itself to fight on her side. Nissa Revane has a connection with the primal magic of the universe. This is something that offers her a profound respect not only for all forms of life but also for the systems that help to support it. Although she has a soft-spoken and kind demeanor, she is a fierce fighter and relentless when it comes to defending her natural world if it is threatened
Tyvar Kell
The younger brother of the king of the elves on Kaldheim, Tyvar Kell has always lived his life in his brother’s shadow. He swore that he would become a hero in his own right and began travelling the realms looking for adventure, and at every opportunity throwing himself into danger. Despite having an overconfident and at times boastful nature, Tyvar has managed to prove himself to be a staunch ally who is worthy of respect. Since he became a Planeswalker, Tyvar has seized on this unique chance to become the greatest hero that has ever been known to his people.
Vivien Reid
Vivien Reid is a magical archer who is looking to honour the lessons from her home plane. Vivien Reid is the last survivor of Skalla, a plane where those who advocate for progress and who are guardians of nature failed to find balance between progress and the natural world (sounds familiar!). She works tirelessly to make sure that the mistakes of her people are not repeated anywhere else in the Multiverse. She considers herself to be a conservationist and she has a strong connection to all wild animals. She has a magical weapon; the Arkbow, which is capable of preserving the life force of all dying beasts. It also summons powerful spirit incarnations in order to do battle.
