PLACES TO VISIT IN NORTH GOA

Goa, located in the north-west of India, is geographically divided into two parts, North Goa and South Goa. North Goa has many beautiful beaches. The atmosphere here attracts tourists. Despite being a small state, Goa has many tourist places to visit. Goa is famous for its beaches, fun nightlife, delicious sea food, vibrant markets etc. Goa has a plethora of tourist places and adventure activities .By the way, the environment here attracts the most tourists. Bogdeshwar Temple One of the important temples of North Goa, the temple of Bogdeshwar is a masterpiece in itself and one of the most famous tourist places in North Goa. Every year in the month of December or January a fair called ‘Jatra’ is organized in the temple. You can spend hours in the temple participating in the rituals of the deity here and finding peace. It is one of the best places to visit in North Goa. 2. Chapora Fort A classic piece of Portuguese architecture, the Chapora Fort is one of the famous tourist places in North Goa. Today it may be in ruins, but there was a time when the Portuguese believed that it would rule for 150 years. Why should you visit this place as it offers mesmerizing views of Anjuna and Vagator beaches. It is a good place for photography and spending some pleasant time. You will also find two tunnels that were built by the Portuguese to escape during the Emergency. 3. Shree Mangushi Temple Shri Mangushi Temple is counted among the largest and most visited temples of Goa. This temple has its own historical importance. This temple is 450 years old. The seven storied lamp tower is a unique feature of this beautiful temple which is very beautiful and attracts every tourist towards it. 4. Goa State Museum The Goa State Museum is located in the Adil Shah’s Palace (Old Secretariat) in Panaji, the capital of the state of Goa. The Goa State Museum was established in the year 1977, which is also known as the State Archaeological Museum. Let us tell you that till 2008 this museum had about 8000 artifacts which included wooden objects, stone sculptures, paintings, manuscripts, carvings, rare coins and anthropological objects, which you can see during your visit to Goa State Museum. 5. Anjuna Flea Market If you want to do shopping in North Goa then the flea market which is located on the Anjana Beach in North Goa is very famous. Here you can buy different types of goods. Here you can buy many hand made house decoration items like wall hangings, photos etc. Along with this, many excellent clothes are also sold here. 6. Deltin Royal After visiting various tourist places in Goa, one can go to the casino in Goa for entertainment. Goa is quite famous for casinos. There are several casinos here, including the Deltin Royale floating casino, which is spread over 40,000 square feet. You can play more than 800 games in this casino. The atmosphere here is full of entertainment. Plus the luxurious atmosphere inside, which includes spacious rooms, a luxurious whiskey lounge and restaurant. 7. Mahalaxmi Temple Mahalaxmi Temple is a religious place in North Goa as well as very popular among tourists. This temple was built around the 15th century. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi. A black stone idol of Maa Lakshmi with four hands has been installed inside the temple. The attraction of the temple is its gate, which is bow shaped. This popular religious place is a must visit during your trip to North Goa. 8. Harvalam Falls It is one of the most beautiful places in North Goa. This waterfall falls from a height of 50 meters and looks very beautiful during the monsoon season. This waterfall is located just a short distance from Bicholim.
